Sebastiano Rolli - conductor

After his studies at the conservatoires in Parma and Milan, Sebastiano Rolli started to collaborate with important orchestras and ensembles, such as: Orchestra Sinfonica Giuseppe Verdi in Parma, Orchestra Stabile dell’Emilia Romagna Arturo Toscanini, Orchestra Sinfonica in Sanremo, Orchestra Gianandrea Gavazzeni in Brescia, Orchestra Gioacchino Rossini in Pesaro. Among his past engagements, it is worth mentioning: Macbeth at the Slovak National Opera in Bratislava; Maria Stuarda at the Teatro Sociale in Rovigo and Bergamo, where he also opened 2013-2014 season conducting Maria di Rudenz and where he returned conducting Torquato TassoFalstaff at the Teatro Verdi in Busseto and Maria Stuarda at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona with Mariella Devia. He recently conducted: Bel Canto concerts with Mariella Devia in Genoa and with Juan Diego Florez in Dublin, I Puritani at the Slovak National Opera in Bratislava and Gianni Schicchi and Suor Angelica in Tirana.

Active also on the concert side, Sebastiano Rolli can boast a vast repertoire that includes works by Bach, Pergolesi, Händel, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Brahms, Wagner, Mozart, Haydn, Britten, Ravel, Dvorák, Strauss, Sibelius, Ravel, Gershwin, just to name a few.

Future plans  include: Anna Bolena in Tenerife and Norma in Verona (both with Mariella Devia) and a series of concerts at the International Music Festival in Brno.

 

Angela Nisi

Angela Nisi – soprano (Fauré’s Requiem and Verdi’s Quattro pezzi sacri)

Born in Brindisi, Angela Nisi made her debut as Micaëla in Carmen in Bassano del Grappa in 2010. She then performed Valtinoni’s Pinocchio at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Lucia di Lammermoor (Lucia) and Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) at the Bassano del Grappa Festival. In 2013 she sang: Oscar in Un ballo in maschera at the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania; Violetta in La Traviata at the Varna Summer Festival; Giulietta in Verdi’s Un giorno di regno at the Reate Festival and she appeared in Orff’s Carmina Burana at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. Angela Nisi recently sang Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle at the Accademia Nazionale Santa Cecilia in Rome with Antonio Pappano; Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) in Bangkok; Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda (Clorinda) in Rome; Carmen (Micaëla) at the Cortona Mix Festival and in Florence with the Orchestra della Toscana.

Plans  include: La Traviata in Essen and in Toulon; Rota’s Mysterium at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari; Tutino’s Le Braci in Martina Franca (world première) in a new production by Gabriele Lavia and then at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Teatro alla Pergola) in Florence; Valtinoni’s Pinocchio in Bassano del Grappa; a series of concerts in São Paulo.

 

Sergio Vitale

Sergio Vitale – baritone (Fauré’s Requiem)

Recipient of various awards, Sergio Vitale made his debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro singing Don Profondo in Il Viaggio a Reims. During the 2010/2011 season Mr. Vitale was member of the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. More recently he performed in Rigoletto at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia; Un ballo in maschera at the Teatro Regio in Parma; Falstaff (title role) at the Teatro della Fortuna in Fano. He took part in a Japanese tour with the Teatro alla Scala, singing Marullo in Rigoletto, then he sang Figaro Il barbiere di Siviglia in Trento, at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and in San Sebastian; he then sang Licinio in Aureliano in Palmira at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro; Gianni Schicchi in Spoleto; Madama Butterfly in Fidenza; Rigoletto (Marullo) at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.

Among his future plans, it is worth mentioning: La Gazzetta at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and La Bohème for the AsLiCo circuit (Brescia, Cremona, Reggio Emilia, Como and Pavia).
